WELCOME TO LATINOS VOTANDO

A historic high 32.3 million Latinos were eligible to vote in the 2020 election cycle, more than any other ethnic group except non-Hispanic whites. In 2024, the number is 36.2 million. The problem over the past two decades has been low turnout among Latinos versus the general population, causing their de facto impact to fall far short of their potential to be a game changing political force.

In spite of this turnout deficit, a historic 50% of eligible Latino voters cast ballots in 2020 to become the second largest voting bloc in the US. Over 60% of these voters are Mexican-American. Nearly 40% are from countries other than Mexico. The statistics drive home the diversity of Latino voters and the need for new ways of communicating with them that transcend potential differences.

With an additional four million Latino voters eligible to vote in 2024, politically engaged Latinos are at an all time high and could be decisive in at least a dozen states, radically changing the traditional electoral map.

The enormous diversity of interests, backgrounds and priorities among Latinos demands a new understanding of their overarching concerns and motivations, which also vary by generation. Amidst this diversity, a unifying thread is that Latino politics are overwhelmingly driven by aspirational values. The American dream is a palpable force of Latino life in the US.

¡Latinos Votando! is built around this core principle. Our proprietary Claritas messaging, outreach and communications are focused on understanding unfiltered aspirational Latino values that span generations as articulated by Latino voters themselves, not pundits or pollsters.
