Welcome to Latinos Votando

A historic high 32.3 million Latinos were eligible to vote in the 2020 election cycle, more than any other ethnic group except non-Hispanic whites. In 2024, the number is 36.2 million.

The problem over the past two decades has been low turnout among Latino voters versus other voting blocs such as blacks and non-Hispanic whites.

In 2020, a historic turning point occurred, with more than 50% of eligible Latino voters casting ballots to become the second largest voting bloc in the US behind only non-hispanic whites. With an additional four million Latino voters eligible in 2024, the highest Latino turnout in US history is expected. It could be decisive in at least a dozen states, radically changing the traditional electoral map.

Latino voters are not a traditional voting bloc. Their enormous diversity of interests, backgrounds and priorities demands a clear understanding of their overarching concerns and motivations as Americans, which also varies by generation. However, Latino politics are overwhelmingly aspirational. Whether first, second or third generation, Latinos chose to come to the US because it represented the possibility of a better life. The American dream is a palpable force in Latino life in the US.

¡Latinos Votando! is built around this core principle of Latino life in the US. Our proprietary Claritas messaging, outreach, communications and GOTV are centered on understanding transcendent aspirational motivation.
